How Allison and Devon's Wedding Photos Perfectly Captured the Spirit of the Day
Allison and Devon were looking for a non-traditional approach to wedding photography with a key focus on creative shots and candid photos of guests. After researching their options, they chose my photography because they felt my work resonated with their vision.
I knew Allison and Devon were looking for a photographer with a creative eye that could blend artistry and candidacy. So by working with them, I found out their must-have shots. And on the day-of, I stood back and captured the day just as it happened. I made sure to focus on their must-have shots and lots of the little moments as well.
With this approach, they received an online gallery of their wedding that captured not just the exuberant joys of the day, but the quiet moments as well. The gallery shone with the spirit of the whole day. And because I knew they had a love for Polaroids, I added some to their package!

FAQ
1. What if i want a smaller package?
My smallest wedding package is 8 hours during the peak of wedding season - Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from May 24 to Labour Day weekend.
Smaller packages are offered outside of peak wedding season and on weekdays. When you inquire, please make note of the size of coverage you're looking for and I will send you along my smaller package prices.
2. What if we don't want an engagement session?
Engagement sessions are offered with most packages. However, if you're uninterested in them for whatever reason, we can allot that time elsewhere! Want more film coverage? Want an extra hour? That's something we can talk about in our discovery call.
3. is a call to book necessary?
To keep it simple: yes. I like to meet with my couples so I know how we vibe and make sure we're all a good match! Meeting over a video call is an excellent way for us to get to know each other and have a good understanding of what the vision of your day will be.
I have a set availability in my calendar, but if these times don't work for you, let me know and we can schedule a time that works for all of us.
4. do you travel of outside of the avalon?
Oh boy, do I! I love a good road trip. So if you're looking for something on the east coast, west coast or something in between, I am so down! I have travel packages we can add on to your wedding package.
And let's not forget the destination weddings outside of Newfoundland. I love to travel, so no matter where you want to go in the world, I have wedding packages for anywhere you want to celebrate!
5. do you retouch the photos? to what extent?
I carefully edit and retouch each and every photo to ensure they perfectly reflect the moment at hand. However, I will not retouch photos to alter your appearance or change the scene of the moment. I personally believe that these moments reflect your day and exude the realness and authenticity of you.
6. can we give you a shot list?
I recommend only making a shot list of your family formals. If there's anything specific that is an absolute must have, I have a questionnaire that will give you the opportunity to share that with me!
The Process
Step 01
Fill out an inquiry form!
Step 02
I'll reply is less than 48 hours (be sure to check your junk mail) to confirm my availability for your date and send an in-depth booking guide. This has package details, prices, and more. That email also has a booking link to book a call with me!
Step 03
We'll chat over Google Meet and chat all about wedding details. We'll go over packages and what best suits your needs. We can create a custom package, as well! This is a great time to bring questions.
Step 04
After our call, I'll send a contract and invoice for you to review, sign, and send. After the contract is signed and retainer is paid, we'll start planning for your engagement session if that's included in your package.
Step 05
8 weeks before the big day, I'll send you an in-depth questionnaire to fill out that helps me get to know everything! 6 weeks before the big day, we'll meet to discuss the questionnaire and if there are any details missing.
Step 06
The big day arrives! All that planning and discussion finally gets executed!!
You'll receive a preview gallery within 48-72 hours of your day.
Step 07
8 weeks after your wedding, you'll receive your full gallery to share with all of your family and friends! And shortly after that, I'll deliver the physical part of your chosen package! This could be a USB, Polaroids, an album, a print of a photo of your choice, etc.
