An immediate family session is, arguably, some of the most important photos you'll ever hold. But regardless of your dynamic, your family size or shape or whatever else, a family session allows you to reconnect with the people in your home and honour where you are in your lives.

My sessions are shaped around who you are. If your kids want to run and play, that's what we'll do. If you and your partner feel most at home flipping through records or walking your favourite trail, we'll start there. I'm not here to pose you into someone else's version of perfect - I'm here to meet you exactly where you are, and document the beauty that already exists.


With care, intention, and with deep respect for you story. These aren't just photos, they're memory markers. And a way to come back to this season in your life again and again.

The Process

 

  1. Send an inquiry my way using the form below.
  2. You'll receive a response from me with my availability and any follow-up questions regarding your vision. I will also send along a quote through my platform for you to review.
  3. Once accepting the quote, I will send along your invoice, contract, and session prep guide. This will have any and all details you'll need to know. From what to wear to how to download and print your photos.
  4. We will finalize your session details and shoot!
  5. I will send you your gallery 3-4 weeks later for you to download and share with your friends and family!

Do you do mini sessions?

I do indeed! I offer mini sessions on a grouping basis (not individually). For example, when it's lupin season, I will offer lupin minis. This gives clients like families to get their annual family photos as a rate less than a regular session and it's already styled for you so you don't have to think about anything besides wrangling the kids and following a the What To Wear Guide!

What if it rains?

Then it rains! Newfoundland weather is very unpredictable, I know. However, we can make the best of it! Clear umbrellas, dancing in the rain, etc. It makes for some of the most beautiful moments.

That being said - if it's torrential downpour or if you're just really not that into it, we can make a plan to reschedule!

I photograph post secondary graduations such as MUN Convocations! I do not photograph high school graduations. I can, however recommend some excellent photographers who do!

Will you retouch the photos?

I'm not one to alter someone's appearance and change who they are. If there's a stray hair, or something that will go away in a week like a pimple, sure. But it's really on a case-by-case basis. I'm all about living the authenticity of the moment and living the truth of the story.
