Hi! I'm Margaret Harvey.
I've had a camera in my hands my entire life. I'd say I was born with one in my hands but I don't have actual evidence to back that up. I exchanged my junior high/high school point-and-shoot for my father's DSLR and at 16-years-old, the world became my muse. But allow me to tell you some non-photography facts about me:
- I'm a big ol' Swiftie. This fact tends to surprise people for some reason.
- I die for a cuppa Tetley. I'm talkin' bringing my own teabags when I travel.
- I read 37 books in 2024 and most of them had romance in some way, shape, or form. Can you tell why I got into wedding photography?
- And finally, I take a lot of pride in being a member of the queer community and striving to make the space in front of my camera a welcoming one for everyone (yes, I made the pun on purpose).

I photograph stories the way they unfold - honest, unscripted, and full of life. Authentic. My sessions aren't about perfect posing; they're about doing something that feels like you. Whether it's an arcade, a hike through your favourite trail, or dancing barefoot by the ocean, I follow your rhythm and document it with intention. I'm not here to perfect your story - I'm here to preserve it. The real one. The one you'll feel every time you look back. Cinematic, emotional, and always true to you.
